Setting up pricing zones and tariffs
Eltaman prices every order automatically from the tariff you configure. You can keep it simple or model zone-to-zone pricing with weight tiers. This guide covers both.
Two pricing modes
Each tariff works in one of two modes:
- Simple — a base price plus optional per-kilogram and per-kilometer components. Quick to set up, ideal when your pricing doesn't depend much on geography.
- Zone matrix — price by the zone the parcel travels from and to, refined by weight tier. This is the model for operations where city districts or regions carry different rates.
Drawing zones
For zone-matrix pricing, first define your zones on the Zones page. Zones come pre-loaded for Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE — subdivide them or draw your own polygons directly on the map.

A zone is just a shape on the map. As your operation grows, subdivide a large zone into smaller ones and your tariffs follow.
Configuring a tariff
Open the Tariffs (Pricing) page and create a tariff. For simple mode, enter your base, weight, and distance components. For zone matrix, fill in the grid: a price for each from-zone / to-zone pair, then adjust by weight tier.

Mark one tariff as the default; it applies to any order that doesn't match a more specific rule. Eltaman allows only one active default tariff per company to keep pricing unambiguous.
With zone-matrix pricing, finish configuring every zone pair you serve before going live. If an order's route can't be priced, order creation is blocked until the matrix is complete — this prevents silently mispriced deliveries.
